Global Health Volunteers and Trinity Health have sent teams of healthcare professionals to distressed urban areas in Latin America and the Caribbean that have little or no access to professional healthcare. This series of photos come from their location in Peru which they operate out of twice a year. The first visit focuses on general medicine while the second visit focuses on surgeries. They also operate a mobile team of medical professionals that travel several hours into the Andes to help members of communities who are not able to make the journey to the main medical clinic.
